Becky MacFarlane has worked in the education sector for 14 years and gained her MSc in Animal Welfare, Ethics Law at the University of Edinburgh.
With experience of lecturing in animal behavior, welfare and ethics, and, more specifically teaching canine and feline specific content, she is also a Trustee for a local feline charity, Band of Rescuers North Yorkshire, and has worked across various feline welfare charities in varying capacities over the last 20 years.

Becky is also a mother of five humans, two felines and one canine, and is motivated to ensure harmonious relationships between all parties through promoting the need to understand human-animal interactions and responsible ownership. She has a passion for cats and ensuring they are better understood with regards to their behaviour, welfare and long-term outcomes in society.
